50 Shades of Lipstick | Wet n Wild

When I think of Fall I don’t think of pumpkin spice lattes or the color of the leaves changing, I always think of the dark lipstick colors that I can get away with now that it is fall. If you are anything like me, you don’t feel like paying $20 for a lipstick that you will only end up wearing once. The problem I was facing, was that I wasn’t able to find dark enough colors for my skin tone. I am fairly tan, and colors that may seem dark on people with lighter skin, end up matching my skin. I have searched every aisle in Ulta looking for a perfect Brown or Wine colored lipstick that would look good on me, and it was kind of a struggle. I have found a makeup brand that is  affordable to all, and the quality of the lipstick is not bad at all. These lipsticks range from 99 cents to $3.50, the colors are super dark and pigmented, and totally worth the 99 cents that I paid.

Wet n Wild is a brand that I was super familiar with when I was younger. When I was a little girl my mom would take me to CVS or Walgreens and let me pick out an eyeshadow, nail polish, or a lipstick because it was so inexpensive. As I got older I never thought I would turn back to that brand just because it seems cheap and terrible quality. Like I said I was searching high and low for the perfect fall lipstick and instead of paying $20 for one, I ended up paying $10 for 5 lipsticks! I totally scored!

The packaging isn’t ideal, but then again for 99 cents, what else would you expect. The colors are very pigmented and do stay on for a while, you’ll just need to touch it up here and there, and it goes on quite smoothly. For the price, it’s totally worth every penny!
